Ardento ALTER

Open baffle

Ardento Alter is a three-way open baffle speakers based on three drivers: (from the top) ribbon tweeter, full range driver, and 15" woofer. The drivers are mechanically isolated from each other – they are fixed in a soft way – screws go through the front wall freely and are fixed from the back side using rubber washers (in this way the influence of vibrations of one driver doesn effect the others). On the back of the speaker there are two independent volume controls to regulate the full range and ribbon, making it easy to fine-tune the sound for a specific room.

There are two standard finishes : American cherry or black piano. Bespoke veneers and / or colors are also available on request. The loudspeaker internal wiring is made of mono-crystal silver, that undergoes thermal processing (annealing and cryogenic treatment). Each speakers have a pair of single WBT binding posts - WBT 0703 (with cryogenic treatment).

Ardento ALTER 2

The ALTER TWO speakers are a new development of the ALTER model and are a further enhancement of the original model.It is a 3-way design in an open baffle that is slightly tilted backwards. This model has the ribbon tweeter at the top, 8” wide-range driver in the middle, and a 18" woofer with a paper cone. All drivers are mechanically isolated – the screws go freely through the baffle and are fixed on the other side using rubber washers (in this way vibrations from one driver don effect the others).

At the back of the speakers there are two independent volume controls. One lets you set the bass level and the other allows you to set the midrange and treble levels making it easy to fine-tune the sound for a specific room.

We offer two standard finishes- American cherry or black piano finish. Bespoke veneers and / or colors are also available on request. Inside cabling is done with monocrystal silver that undergoes thermal processing (heating up and than cryo treatment). Exactly the same material was used for the silver speakers cables and the interconnect cables (only speaker cable for bass is made of monocrystal copper). The speakers are equipped with double WBT binding posts - WBT 0703, that also are cryo treated.

Ardento SOLO amplifier

This amplifier is a classic 300B SET (Single Ended Triode) design, with interstage transformer coupling. Internal wiring is made of thermal treated mono-crystal silver. All transformers are cryo treated as well. The amplifier comes with a metal casing with a front and cover finished with "mirror” effect and side panels are finished in American cherry or black piano finish as a standard. Bespoke veneers and /or colors are also available on request.

Ardento DUAL amplifier

ARDENTO DUAL is an advanced and more developed amplifier design based on the original ARDENTO SOLO system is dedicated for all more power-full and intense experience enthusiasts. ARDENTO DUAL is enriched with an independent section for the bass range with EL 34 tubes and the treble range is driven by a 300B Single Ended system. In essence two amplifiers in one housing with regulations that enable the balance between them. The ALTER 2 speakers are particularly well adapted to this system.

Digital to Analog converter Ardento Perfect DAC

The PerfectDAC is a tube Digital to Analog converter equipped with 32-bit processor, two coaxial S/PDIF inputs support up to 192 kHz/24 bit, and asynchronous USB input supports up to 192kHz/32bit.

A lot of thought was given to the power supply section. A separate part for digital section of this device is based on discrete elements, analogue stage uses a classic tube power supply (a rectifier + LC circuit).Internal cabling is made of thermal treated silver. The whole process takes several hours and temperatures during it goes as low as -190° C and as high as +250° C). Output stage has two E88CC triodes. The external part of enclosure is sort of wooden frame, with finish identical to that of side panels of amplifier and speakers. At the back there are solid RCA sockets made by CMC. A simple toggle switch, placed next to coaxial inputs is in fact a three-way input selector.
